Yocelin S. González '01
Yocelin S. González ‘01 is an Enrollment Management professional and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practitioner. Over the past thirteen years, her main objectives have been to create equitable admission processes and recruit students and families from all over the country and world to form diverse student bodies as well as develop curriculum focused on identity development and anti-racist/anti-biased work in the various school communities she has been a part of. Currently, she is the Director of Community Partnerships and Admission Outreach at The Meadowbrook School of Weston, a JK-8 independent school outside of Boston. Additionally, she serves the Co-Director of the Multicultural Teaching Institute, which is committed to supporting teachers to cultivate and assess curricula and classroom practices through a lens of equity, justice, and anti-bias. At a national level, Yocelin is part of the founding committee for Admission Professionals of Color for the Enrollment Management Association and has formed part of the faculty leading the National Association of Independent School’s Student Diversity Leadership Conference. Yocelin received a B.A. in Communications with a focus in Public Relations from Boston College. While at Kent, she was on Senior Council and was a tour guide for four years. Yocelin lives in Newton, MA with her fiancé.
