Peter Lewine '65
Peter Lewine ‘65 graduated from Colgate University, was a Lieutenant j.g. in the U.S. Navy, then went on to a career as an on-air TV reporter in local news, and then as a news editor at ABC News. He earned an M.B.A from Columbia University and began a second career in publishing and advertising sales as Associate Publisher on business-to-business trade publications. Recently retired, Peter tutors children at the Police Athletic League's New South Bronx Center. He lives in New York City and in Kent, CT with his wife, Deborah. They have three daughters: Mary, working on a Ph.D. in Asian Art, in Japan, through UC Berkeley; Annie, teaching Social Studies in Minneapolis; and Eliza, now a doctor in Chicago. Starting in the Second Form at Kent as a 12-year-old was, to say the least, a difficult transition, but in the end, his time at Kent was transformative, and his closest friends today are still almost all from his Kent days.
