Peter Lewine '65
Peter Lewine '65 graduated from Colgate University, was a Lieutenant j.g. in the U.S. Navy, then went on to a career as an on-air TV reporter in local news, and then as a news editor at ABC News. He earned an M.B.A. from Columbia University and began a second career as an Associate Publisher on business-to-business trade publications. Peter, with his wife Deborah, lives in New York City and in Kent, CT, where Peter's a member of the town of Kent's Community Emergency Response Team. They have three daughters: Mary, working on a Ph.D. in Asian Art, through UC Berkeley, while working as a research fellow at the Nara National Museum in Japan; Annie, serving as Associate Principal at a large middle school in West St. Paul, MN; and Eliza, a doctor, beginning a residency in gastroenterology in the New York area. Starting in the Second Form at Kent as a 12-year old was, to say the least, a difficult transition, but in the end, his time at Kent was transformative, and his closest friends today are still almost all from his Kent days.
