Ibrahim "Mutala" Mutala '13 Visits Kent

Thank you Kent alumnus Ibrahim "Mutala" Mutala '13, who visited soccer practice on Monday, October 13 to share with students his journey from Ghana to Kent School.

Mutala grew up in Tamale, a town in Ghana. He came to Kent through the School's longstanding relationship with the Right to Dream Academy, which pairs talented individuals with school communities in the U.S. where they can continue their education while playing.

At Kent, Mutala captained the Boys Varsity Soccer team and led Blue Key activities his Sixth Form year. After graduating from Kent, Mutala attended Connecticut College where he studied international relations and played on the men's soccer team. In 2018, he enrolled in the Hospitality Management program at the Culinary Institute of America.
