This year-long major course offers an introduction to the Italian language and culture. Using a college-level textbook as well as games, projects, films, and other authentic materials, students will build skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Prerequisite: for fifth and sixth form students who have fulfilled their language requirement in another language, or by departmental approval. Italian Language and Culture will be offered in alternating years with Russian Language and Culture.
