The History of Life on Earth covers the basics of paleontology and its impact on our understanding of evolution and the development of the diverse life forms on our planet. Exploring hundreds of millions of years of organisms recorded in the fossil record, the course will explore principles of geology, evolution, origins of oxygen, mass extinction events including the rise and fall of the dinosaurs.
