Develop your authentic written voice in English 4. 

In the fall term, study impactful narrative and personal essays as mentor texts to support you as you craft personal and college essays. Through careful analysis of a variety of texts from different authors, from Shakespeare to Trevor Noah, you will deepen your appreciation for the development of identity and the human desire to understand the self in relationship to the world and others. 

In the Winter and Spring Terms, you will choose from a variety of elective courses that are also open to Advanced Studies in English Literature students. These electives vary from term to term.

All Sixth-Form students not enrolled in Advanced Studies in English Literature are automatically enrolled in English 4.
