Chinese 2 continues and builds on the fundamentals learned in Chinese 1. This course is designed to develop students’ grammar, sentence structure, and practical use of the Chinese language while enlarging students’ vocabulary and related knowledge of the language. In addition to linguistic knowledge, the development of the students’ awareness of Chinese culture and history continues. Prerequisite: Chinese 1.
