20th Century Capitalism

Sharpen your understanding of the economic system of the United States in 20th Century Capitalism. Apply a historian’s perspective to the establishment of basic economics principles as you trace the roots of a free capitalistic society before examining three conceptual areas: prosecutions, distribution, and consumption. This is followed by an inquiry into the recent growth of the United States’s national productivity and the perils we have encountered as a nation in arriving at our current level of affluence.

Prerequisite: open to students in the Fifth and Sixth Form.
