"Playing Through" Screening at Kent School

Kent School is pleased to host screenwriter Curtis Jordon '70 for a screening of his feature film Playing Through on September 30 in Mattison Auditorium at 7 p.m.

Playing Through is Curtis' first-ever film. It has been selected for the Sarasota Film Festival, the Durban International Film Festival, the Harlem Film Festival, Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival, the Oak Park Black Film Festival, and the Vienna Independent Film Festival, where it won Best Director, Best Actress, Best Feature Film, and Best Overall Film.

Playing Through is a feature film inspired by Ann Gregory, the first black woman to
play in the USGA.
