Kent Sports Medicine Earns National Recognition for Ninth Consecutive Year

The National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) has once again recognized Kent School’s Sports Medicine program as a First Team Safe Sports School.

Congratulations to our outstanding athletic trainers, Kayla Hayes and Kaylynn Ebertowski, on earning this honor and continuing Kent’s tradition of excellence in athlete care and safety.

“We are very proud that Kent Sports Medicine continues to be recognized as a First Team Safe Sports School,” said Hayes. “The award reflects the work we put in to keep our athletes performing at the highest level while staying safe, educated, and prepared for all that life throws their way—both on and off the field. We will continue to uphold this standard in the years to come, going above and beyond for our Kent community.”

To qualify for this commendation, a school’s sports medicine program must meet a wide range of the most up-to-date professional standards in injury prevention, emergency care, and athlete education.

Kent has proudly earned the Safe Sports School First Team Award every year since 2016 —marking nine consecutive year of commitment to athlete health and safety.
