Mary (Muffy) Mallory '67
Muffy attended the University of Denver and graduated with a degree in Political Science. After spending a year working in the New York Mayor’s press office, she attended the New York Paralegal Institute and became a litigation paralegal. She worked in law firms from New York, to Chicago, and ultimately to San Francisco, where she married and had a son, George. She ended her career in the United States Attorney’s office in San Francisco working in the criminal division in Healthcare Fraud and Economic Crimes. Muffy is a member of Moms Demand Action, having personally experienced a shooting incident at her SF law firm where several colleagues were killed by a disgruntled client. Happily retired in Orinda, CA, she is a volunteer with the East Bay SPCA as a Behavior & Training specialist and Canine Companion. Muffy’s father, G. Barron Mallory, graduated from Kent in the Class of 1937 where he met her mother. She has spent decades as Class Agent and won the Fuzz Foster Class Secretary award in 2002 and 2007.
