Their commitment supports every facet of School life—funding scholarships, sustaining faculty, and enriching opportunities that define the Kent experience.
Through annual and planned giving, leadership donors ensure Kent’s mission, motto, and values remain vibrant for generations to come. We are proud to recognize these individuals for their dedication and loyalty.
The 1906 Club
Since Kent was founded in 1906, the School has benefited from the generosity of a community committed to the School’s mission. The 1906 Club recognizes our most outstanding supporters of The Kent Fund, the endowment, and capital funds.
Members are recognized for their leadership support of at least $1,906 annually during the fiscal year (July 1-June 30) in our Annual Report of Donors.
Donors at this level make a tremendous impact, providing the resources to fund Kent’s financial aid program, to compensate Kent’s outstanding faculty and staff, and to make possible the many opportunities that define the Kent experience.
Blue and Gray Society: $1,906-$4,999
Numeral Rock Society: $5,000-$9,999
Housatonic Society: $10,000-$24,999
Old Main Society: $25,000-$49,999
Fiducia Society: $50,000-$99,999
Amicus Society: $100,000+
Donors may take advantage of their company's matching gift contributions to qualify for The 1906 Club membership.
Young Alumni Leadership
Graduates within 10 years of Kent are welcomed into The 1906 Club with gifts of:
Through the 5th reunion: $200 or more
Through the 10th reunion: $500 or more
KEY Society
Kent’s most loyal donors are recognized as members of the KEY Society (Kent Every Year).
Kent’s excellence is a direct result of the contributions of loyal alumni, students, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff and friends. The KEY Society honors those who have contributed for three or more consecutive years, including the current year. We are grateful for the collective support of KEY Society members who reaffirm their belief in Kent’s mission through their annual gifts.
Bell Tower Society
The Bell Tower Society recognizes, honors, and thanks those who have determined to reach beyond their own lives to enhance opportunities for future generations of Kent School youth by thoughtfully including the School in their estate planning.
In the spring of 1991, Kent School established the Bell Tower Society “to recognize, honor and thank those who have determined to reach beyond their own lives to enhance opportunities for future generations of Kent School youth by thoughtfully including the School in their estate planning.”
The Bell Tower Society now has more than 700 members, including alumni, parents of alumni and friends of Kent. Through their generosity and foresight, Bell Tower Society members have provided an enduring legacy that supports Kent’s endowment and strengthens the School for generations to come.
