Kent’s endowment ensures long-term financial health while keeping the Kent experience as accessible as possible by reducing the School’s dependence on tuition revenue.
A gift to the endowment creates a permanent funding source because your original gift is never spent. Instead, gifts to the endowment are carefully invested so the income created can fund expenses and fulfill the School’s mission in perpetuity.
As the cost of education continues to rise, the role of Kent’s endowment has become even more important. The larger Kent’s endowment, the less the School depends on tuition income, which allows Kent to offer a world-class experience at a lower tuition rate.
