Kent School

Equity and Inclusion

Equity and Inclusion

Echoing the Episcopal Church's ethos of radical welcome, Kent values the dignity of every human being and the rich array of backgrounds, beliefs, life experiences, and perspectives that enrich our community.

Kent School is committed to creating an environment that embraces equity and inclusion in all realms of our shared life. We identify injustice in order to make our community more just and loving so that our students will do the same in the communities to which they will belong in the future. The deepest learning at Kent occurs not from books or online resources, but with one another. This kind of learning inspires our empathy and prompts our action.

Equity and Inclusion in Action

We are proud of our vibrant and ever-growing community of students from over 30 different countries. We value the diverse cultures, languages, and perspectives that our international students bring, enriching the educational experience for all. We strive to create an inclusive environment that celebrates the unique contributions of each student, fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect, understanding, and lifelong friendships.
