Meet the Coaches
Coach Hassan Eltebany
Coach Hassan Eltebany was named head coach of Girls Varsity Tennis in 2026, bringing extensive coaching and playing experience to Kent School.
Last season, Coach Hassan Eltebany served as Kent School's Head Boys JV Tennis Coach. Before joining Kent, he coached high school players throughout Oregon's Willamette Valley, where he previously played during his high school career as a team captain and competed at first singles and first doubles. He also competed in USTA junior tennis throughout the Pacific Northwest in the under-16 and under-18 divisions. Coach Eltebany continues to compete in national adult tournaments across the United States and Canada.
Coach Eltebany believes tennis develops self-reliance, integrity, and sportsmanship. Because players are responsible for officiating themselves at the high school level, he emphasizes honesty, respect, and the values that define the game. As a coach, he is committed to helping student-athletes grow both on and off the court. He encourages players to respond thoughtfully to challenges, emphasizing patience, adaptability, and continuous growth alongside technical skill development.
