Coach Tim Booth

Coach Tim Booth returned as Head Coach ahead of the 2025 season and has been part of Kent soccer since 1998. He served as Assistant Varsity Coach from 1998–2005, Head Coach from 2006–2019, and most recently led the JV program from 2020–2024.

“We are proud of our whole program,” said Coach Booth. “From developmental soccer to our three interscholastic teams, Kent soccer works hard to develop talent from within. Our JV and Thirds teams have enjoyed great success over the years, and contribute in important ways to the accomplishments of the varsity squad.  Every year players come through the program, with many players climbing the ranks as their talents evolve.”

As a player, Booth was a three-year starter and captain in the WNEPSSA ranks in the early 1990s. During his tenure as Head Coach, Kent won a WNEPSSA Class A title, two Founders League championships, two Western Connecticut Soccer Officials’ Sportsmanship Awards, and advanced to two Class A New England finals. He is a graduate of Hamilton College and teaches in the History Department.

Coach Booth is assisted by Coach Steve Robey, who has been a cornerstone of the Kent soccer program since 1994. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Coach Robey is also a member of the Science Department.
