Kent’s extensive indoor and outdoor facilities include 13 playing fields including 2 turf fields, 8 outdoor tennis courts, a cross-country running course, the Magowan '23 Field House with 2 gymnasiums, fitness and weight facilities, a 25-yard six lane pool with two, 1-meter diving boards and electric timing, International squash courts, and an indoor tennis facility.
Other facilities include the fitness center, the renovated Nadal '17 hockey rink, the Partridge Rowing Center and Sill Boathouse with access to the Housatonic River, and the Kent School Riding Stables with indoor and outdoor rings as well as trails.
Both faculty and students also take advantage of the 1200 acre campus and environs which include the Appalachian Trail and mountains and the Housatonic River and Valley.
Kent School’s Fitness Center is equipped with state-of-the-art strength and cardiovascular equipment. The two-story facility, overlooking the football field and scenic Housatonic River, offers competitive athletes as well as recreational users the very best in strength and conditioning apparatus. A full array of Life Fitness and Precor machines and free weights, including three platforms, is complemented by aerobic machines including upright and recumbent stationary bikes, treadmills and ellipticals. The latest in audio, video and computer technology also graces the post and beam style structure while a dedicated strength coach works with teams and individuals to develop sport-specific or general use training programs.
