Amanda Ward Marshall '08

Amanda Ward is a nationally recognized leader in the camp industry. She was honored by the American Camp Association for her work as a summer camp professional and young leader in Outdoor Education. She entered the camp world full-time after teaching Fifth Grade and Kindergarten in Manhattan and Connecticut private schools. While at Kent, Amanda served on the Senior Council as a Dorm Prefect. She was a Head Tour Guide, Peer Mentor, and involved in the Performing Arts program. She also created a dance workshop for Faculty & Staff children where she taught dance classes and choreography on the weekends. She received her B.A. from Trinity College. Amanda is a proud Class Agent for the Class of 2008 and was awarded the Julian C. S. “Fuzz” Foster ’41 Class Secretary Award in 2020. She lives in Miami, Florida with her husband and their rescue dog, Camper.
