Alumni Volunteers

With more than 8,500 alumni throughout the country and around the world, the Alumni Office looks to volunteers to strengthen the ties between alumni and Kent, and to build support for the School.  Every year, more than 200 alumni demonstrate their devotion to Kent by volunteering their time for the benefit of the School, their classmates and fellow alumni.  There are a number of ways to get involved:

Class Agents

Class Agents are an important link between alumni and Kent. The work of our Class Agents is critical to our success each year, and in the long term.  Agents promote alumni engagement and encourage financial support from their class. Alumni are more likely to support the Annual Fund when contacted by a classmate; therefore, a strong Annual Fund is possible only through the efforts of our Agents.

Class Agents also play a vital role in keeping classmates connected by gathering class notes and updated contact information.

Reunion Volunteers

Reunion Volunteers play an important role in generating enthusiasm for an upcoming reunion.  Through phone calls, letters, emails and class Facebook groups, reunion volunteers engage their classmates and build excitement for returning to campus.

Regional Event Hosts

Many regional alumni events are hosted or initiated by alumni (and sometimes by a group of alumni). If you are interested in hosting an event or have an idea for an event in your area, please let us know! The Alumni Office will work closely with you from beginning to end.

If you would like to get involved in any of the ways mentioned above, or if you have a new idea, please email alumni@kent-school.edu.
