Dorm Accommodations
Campus accommodations include a linen package (2 flat sheets, a light blanket, a disposable pillow, as well as a washcloth, hand towel, and bath towel).
Beds are lofted to a height of 42 inches or bunked to a height of 74 inches off the floor.
Guests need to be able to access these beds independently, as the furniture cannot be adjusted. Pet Policy
We love your furry friends as much as you do, but for Reunion Weekend Kent will only be able to welcome registered Service Dogs / Emotional Support Animals. (At the time of registration you will need to provide documentation of a current rabies certificate).
Kent School requests that all pet owners also adhere to the following guidelines for the health and safety of both the pets and the community:
- All animal owners are required to submit a current rabies certificate to the Alumni & Development Office.
- Collars are to be worn at all times and display the animal's rabies tag.
- Dog owners must have their dogs on a leash at all times on campus. Pet owners are responsible for their animals at all times.
- Each pet owner is responsible for collecting pet waste left on campus by bagging it and properly disposing of it in a lined trash receptacle.
- No domestic pet may pose a threat to wildlife populations.
- Pet owners must ensure that their pets do not disturb trash receptacles on campus.
- Pet owners must be sensitive to members of the community who may have concerns about their pet. They should be open to conversation about their pet's behavior and proactive in resolving the concern. Ideally, a member of the community who is concerned about a pet should speak directly with the pet's owner.
- Owners of pets that bite, bark incessantly, harass, or otherwise injure a member of the community, a visitor, or another animal may be asked to confine the pet or remove it from the community.
Parking
Allow us to be your driver for the weekend with golf cart shuttle service!
When arriving on campus guests will be required to fill out a parking pass and display the parking pass on the dash of their vehicle at all times. Our golf cart shuttle service will then take you to the registration tent, where guests will check in for the day/weekend.
Guests that park in spaces not designated for reunion guests will be required to move them immediately or will be towed.
Attire
We suggest comfortable attire, and walking shoes for all events to make it easy for you to traverse campus. Please also remember to pack light - as your vehicle will be some distance from your event or accommodations if you are rooming on campus. Guests with handicap permits or accessibility concerns should check in at the security booth upon arrival for further instructions.
Child Care
Alumni Visitor Expectations
Respectful and reasonable behavior from all attending Alumni Weekend is required and essential to offering an enjoyable and positive experience. Kent School reserves the right to remove any attendee from Kent School's campus should Kent School in its sole discretion view the behavior of such attendee as disrespectful and/or inappropriate, impeding the School's ability to offer an enjoyable and positive weekend and thereby preventing other attendees from productively participating in Alumni Weekend activities. Should an attendee be removed from the Alumni Weekend event due to disrespectful and/or inappropriate behavior, Kent will NOT refund that attendee for fees paid to participate in Alumni Weekend.
Please help us preserve our beautiful campus and leave it better than you found it.
