Applied Learning
Applied Learning offers our students the chance to integrate classroom knowledge into real-world experiences.
Kent is a pioneer among independent schools in establishing a program in engineering and offering a wide range of opportunities for exploring its many applications. Our engineering program was founded in 2007 and we opened our state-of-the-art Pre-Engineering and Applied Sciences Center in 2014.
In our Entrepreneurship program, students can take courses in Global Finance, Economics, Capitalism, and Banking & Capital Markets. Activities available to students include clubs for investing and entrepreneurship. We also offer workshops in financial literacy and have a Bloomberg Terminal in our library. Upon completion of the Bloomberg course, our students will become Bloomberg certified.
