Admissions Academic Life Link

For boys and girls entering grades 8, 9 and 10, the Kent School Summer Camp for Creative Writing offers a dynamic educational and recreational program in a boarding school environment. Our goal is to provide a framework and knowledge base that will guide future writing efforts in every subject.

Held each July, the Camp provides classroom and workshop instruction for 65 students (in classes of 12 or fewer) in creative writing. The academic program is supplemented by recreational activities utilizing our idyllic location, between the Housatonic River and Appalachian Trail, in northwestern Connecticut.

Kent School Summer Camp for Creative Writing is a great opportunity to explore writing with lots of personal attention from our teaching staff. Summer is a good time to have fun with newly discovered friends, and experience firsthand the great advantages of living where you learn.
