Sing the works of the great master composers such as Mozart, as well as selections from lighter musicals. The program includes workshops, rehearsals, and a public concert. Anyone who enjoys singing will enjoy this musical experience. Prior vocal experience is helpful, but formal vocal training is not required. Register by section according to vocal range. Sections are limited to balance the chorus. Early registration is strongly recommended. Singers will receive mailings asking for information on their experience and self-analysis of skills. Parts of selected scores will be mailed (if registrations and questionnaires are returned in time), and participants are expected to practice the music prior to arrival. Attention classical musicians! Spend a week playing some of the world's greatest music from famous composers. Refresh/renew symphonic skills. Program includes rehearsals of major symphonic works and string, woodwind, and brass ensembles with a concert for the conclusion of the program. Sections are limited to balance the orchestra.
