The Kent Parents Fund

In a very real sense, annual giving allows Kent to do things that set the School apart from other institutions - to achieve our particular vision of what a secondary school education can be.

Gifts from Alumni, Present Parents, Parents of Alumni, Grandparents, Widows and others to the Kent Annual Fund between July 1st - June 30th each year provide critical, unrestricted dollars for current use. The nearly $2 million raised affords the Headmaster and Trustees the flexibility of applying funds to the areas of greatest need – or, indeed, greatest opportunity – at any particular time. Because the Kent Annual Fund is unrestricted it can be used for any purpose, including balancing the budget. Your support directly supports:

• Small class sizes
• Attracting and keeping talented teachers
• Ongoing operating budget demands to cover sudden or unanticipated increases in
  costs for fuel, electric or other expenses
• Faculty compensation
• Professional development
• Scholarships
• Renovations to dorms, music and art studios, science labs, the library, the dining hall, St. Joseph’s Chapel and other facilities
• Athletic programs
• Continuous maintenance and improvements to the School grounds

Place the unsigned certificate(s), still registered with the donor's name, in one envelope. In a separate envelope, place one signed stock power form per certificate.
