This weekend, two plays! For both plays, admission is free.
Troy Women
Adapted By Karen Hartman, Based on the Play by Euripides
The play, Troy Women, depicts the aftermath of the Trojan War, answering the question “What happens to the women of Troy after their men have been killed?” It’s an updated version of the classical Greek play by Euripides, which is perhaps the greatest anti-war play ever written, and a remarkably feminist piece, especially considering that it was penned in the 5th century BC.

A Dickens' Christmas Carol: A Traveling Travesty in Two Tumultuous Acts
By Mark Landon Smith
Although most of us have seen Dickens' A Christmas Carol, you probably haven't seen a production of it quite like this. The Stykes Upon Thump Repertory Company comes to Kent on their 15th annual tour performing the Christmas classic. Unfortunately, the star of the show calls in sick at the last minute, causing the cast to make some dramatic changes to the cast list. Upon discovering the show is going on with out her, mid-way thorough the show, the star decides to come to the performance and take over her role, resulting in a very humorous version of this holiday classic.
