Congratulations to Nicole Marvin '12 who won the 2011 girls cross country Founders League championship for the second year in a row. She steadily pulled away from the field over the course of the second half of the race to win by over 30 seconds. Her time of 19:01 broke the Hotchkiss course record by 26 seconds.
Nicole broke another course record and won another championship race at the 2011 Division II New England Cross Country Championship at Groton. Pulling away from a strong field over the course of the last two miles, Nicole ran a course record time of 19:09 to repeat as New England champion.
Nicole continued her winning streak at the 2011 NEPSTA All-Star meet at St. Mark's School in Southborough, MA. 51 Girls and 42 boys completed the course. She won the combined New England Cross Country race and again broke the course record by more than one minute, truly an amazing accomplishment.
