Twenty-two Case dorm residents and three faculty members traveled to White Memorial Park in nearby Litchfield, Conn. to participate in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. The 5k walk drew over 600 walkers and raised over $47,000. Case dorm residents raised $1,500 of that total, making them the 12th overall fundraising team. This was the fifth year for Case Dorm to participate in the Breast Cancer Walk, and every year grows more successful. Fifth Formers spearheaded the dorm effort this year and Dorm Parent Krista Falcone said they have big plans for the rest of the year. Stay tuned!
