Jack Capuano '85 has been appointed Interim Head Coach of the New York Islanders in the National Hockey League (NHL).
While at KENT Capuano played defense and was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the fifth round in 1984. He played three years at the University of Maine and was a first-team All-American as a junior before turning pro.
Before his recent promotion, Capuano served as head coach of the Islanders’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Read more here.
