Out of 89 teams from throughout New England that competed at Worchester Polytechnic Institute’s 22nd Annual Invitational Mathematics Meet, the KENT math team placed first in the individual round and an impressive third in the team competition
Both team and individual rounds consist of challenging questions based on the secondary mathematics curriculum up to but not including calculus. Students have only a pencil and paper with which to solve the timed problems which increase in difficulty.
Congratulations to the math team for an outstanding achievement!
