Priorities at the School

Kent relies on the support of our alumni, parents and friends. It is the Kent family that sustains our school.

Today the Annual Fund is the most important way to support the School. Kent asks every member of the School family to make an annual contribution. These are current funds as they are expended during the year in progress. Unrestricted current support allows the Trustees to allocate gifts to the highest priorities of the School. Restricted current support helps fund activities like specified programs in academics, the arts or athletics.

Other important ways to give to Kent include:

• Capital Gifts - underwrite campus improvements enhancing the safety, beauty and the competitiveness of our facilities.
• Endowment Gifts – provide essential permanent funding for faculty support and scholarship assistance and are often payable over three to five years.
• Planned Giving – involves bequests, annuities, real estate and similar assets in support of the endowment, capital projects and the school program
