ANNE BRAINARD '15
GIRLS VARSITY LACROSSE

Rookie fourth former Anne Brainard has had a sensational lacrosse season. She had an outstanding week, tallying 5 goals and an assist against Taft, and a 3-goal "hat trick" and an assist versus Miss Porters.

Anne is a tenacious defender, and is one of the leading players for ground ball controls. She consistently wins and controls draws, and can be counted on to settle the attack. She has great vision on the field, and plays with confidence.

Recently, she and Melissa Stys were nominated by opposing coaches in the league to represent Kent in the 2013 NEPSWLA All-Star game to be played this Sunday. Well done, ladies!

BOYS 3RDS LACROSSE

The veteran tri-captains of the 3rds lacrosse team have shown a level of commitment and passion for competition that has led the team to a fantastic season turn-around in recent weeks.

After failing to score a goal in the first two games of the season, the team has won 3 of the last 5 games, including a thrilling come-from-behind overtime win versus rival Loomis.
The captains have set the tone during this great stretch with hustle, determination, and sacrifice. All three are young men of tremendous character, and we as coaches and players are privileged to call them teammates.
