Last year’s Boys Squash season was one of the best the school has had in many years. Unfortunately, seven of the squad’s players graduated. Only captain Sebastian Bland and Chris Funk returned for the most recent campaign. While the campaign began with a string of losses, the team’s spirits were lifted mid-season by a dramatic victory over Trinity-Pawling. Ascanio Serena claimed a point for the team after a grueling five-game match that ended 10-8 in Ascanio’s favor. After losing the first game, Harry Seherr-Thoss regained his confidence and won the next three. Two other victories by senior Josh Lee and Chris Funk secured the team’s win. The team was able to piece together a short winning streak during the last weeks of the season. With the help of Jamie Hubbell, playing his last year in a Kent uniform, Kent was able to defeat Millbrook, Berkshire and T-P at home.
