Following a season opening loss to Andover,
Girls Crew swept through all remaining competition in New England
and capped another great season by placing second to Exeter
in the overall point title at New England's, held on May 22
in Worcester. Captains Tara Singh and Chelsea Spensley provided
outstanding leadership and, along with classmates Katya Chuprina,
Cori DeLitto, Genny Fultz and Andra Prutu proved, once again,
that Kent rowing is the class of New England. Season highlights
included 2 boats winning at St. Andrews, all 3 boats sweeping
Connecticuts and, finally, in Worcester, two boats finishing
second and another claiming a third. Coach Jamie Robinson and
assistants Julie Saxton and Kat Sullivan did a wonderful job
guiding Kent's rowers throughout the campaign.
