Brittany Casey '09Brittany Casey ’09 has had a remarkable athletic career at the Norwich University athletics scene. Casey, from Pointe Claire, Quebec, is a two-sport athlete as a member of both the women's soccer and hockey teams.

Casey was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference First Team for the third straight season. She holds the record in all-time career goals with 60. She also recorded 24 assists to finish with 144 career points, which ranks second on Norwich's all-time charts.  She lead the team in every major offensive statistical category.



 

 


Sonia Occhionero '09Sonia Occhionero ’09 made the All-Freedom Conference second-team in the midfield in 2011.  She started all 14 of her appearances for Manhattanville as a junior, scoring three goals with two assists to tie for the team lead with eight points.  Sonia is a business management major with a sociology minor, is on the dean's list, and is a Duchesne Scholar.

 

 




Jayde BennettJayde Bennett ’09 went on to play in goal for Colby College.  She was first in the conference in overall saves per game (7.09) in 2010, and she had a 1.08 goals against average and an .867 save percentage. Jayde is pursuing a double major in Psychology and Sociology, with a minor in Women's Studies and also plays basketball at Colby.

 

 

 

 

 



Courtney Parisot '09Courtney Parisot '09 of the Norwich University women's soccer team was named to the Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District team for the second straight year.  The Watertown, CT native tallied four goals and one assist for nine points in 2012 to rank third on the team in both categories. She also posted a 3.83 GPA as a health science major with a concentration in sports medicine.
