Intramural teams provide many opportunities for team play, fitness and instruction in sports. For students who wish to play on a team in a less competitive atmosphere than interscholastic competition or pursue their interests by participation in a directed activity, Kent has club sports. These are part of the larger intramural programs. Among other things, you may learn to play tennis, row or dance, play soccer with friends or hit the trails on a mountain bike, ski or snowboard at CT’s largest ski area nearby, hit the pool for aquatic fitness or bolster your well-being with yoga.

As an alternative to a sport, students may participate in community service or performing arts as an activity. And Kent also offers a sports medicine program. The student trainers work under the supervision of the school physician and head athletic trainer to learn vital skills for athletic trainers and basic emergency response.
