Head Coach: Tim Booth, at Kent since 1998
Assistant: Stephen Robey, at Kent since 1993
Message from the Coach:
Our mission as coaches is to see our teams develop as players and as young men. Training places an emphasis on fundamental technical development, the growth of tactical sophistication of thought/understanding of the game, and fun. Many of our players are ambitious to continue their careers after Kent, and have enjoyed success in college at both the Division I and Division III level. We field diverse teams, with many players hailing from both the United States and varied backgrounds and homes around the world.
We are proud of our whole program. From developmental soccer to our three interscholastic teams, Kent soccer works hard to develop talent from within. Our JV and 3rds teams have enjoyed great success over the years, and contribute in important ways to the accomplishments of the varsity squad. Every year players come through the program, with many players climbing the ranks as their talents evolve.
Every coach in this program is a teacher, and we see the pitch as an extension of our classroom. Honorable citizenship and a commitment to academics are expected and valued. Our players make vast contributions to the Kent community in a multitude of ways.
