Kent alumni go on to compete at every level, from the Olympics to playing in the NFL.

Sean Tuohy  ’07 was named to  the All New England League Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) for Connecticut College. Tuohy, a defenseman, was a starter for the team for four years.  Connecticut College Athletic News

David Quinn '84, Assistant Head Coach of Boston University, helped lead the men's ice hockey team to capture the 2009 NCAA Division I championship, the team's fifth overall, after coming back to beat Miami in overtime.  On June 22, 2009, Quinn was introduced as head coach for the Lake Erie Monsters of the AHL, affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche.

Will Daly ’02  has recently been a member of the United States Under-23 crew team, three World Championship Teams-- winning gold in the 2008 Men's Lightweight Eight in Linz, Austria-- and most recently the U.S. Olympic team in Beijing. He is currently training for the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games.

Emily Reynolds ’07 made history when her Junior Women’s Eight received the first ever women’s gold medal for the U.S.A. at the 2008 FISA World Rowing Senior and Junior Rowing Championships which were held in Linz, Austria.

Francois Anderson ’08 went on to play soccer at Columbia University. His teammate on the Kent Lions, Nick Faber ’08, is now his teammate on the Columbia Lions. They are joined by classmate Kalasi Huggins ’08, who plays football there.

Justin and Drew Daniels ’08 have both been drafted to the National Hockey League by the San Jose Sharks. Justin was third pick in the third round and Drew was picked in the seventh round.

Harry Glynne ’08 received a bronze medal in the U21 age group of the European Championships of held in Pamplona, Spain. Glynne represented Germany on the national baseball team.

Brittany Casey '09 - NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Even though Brittany Casey is only a sophomore, she is quickly making her mark on the Norwich University athletics scene. Casey, from Pointe Claire, Quebec is a two-sport athlete as a member of both the women's soccer and hockey teams. Click here to read the entire article.
