Tuition & Fees
It was the vision of Kent’s founder, Father Frederick Herbert Sill, to build a school where “young men of slender means could gain an education second to none.” To this day, Kent remains true to Father Sill’s vision by maintaining a very generous financial aid budget. Kent seeks to provide an education, “second to none,” to bright, motivated and talented students, regardless of one’s ability to pay. It should be noted that tuition actually only covers part of the cost of educating a student at Kent. Presently, the total cost amounts to over $80,000 per student annually; the difference is made up through the School’s endowment along with annual contributions from alumni, parents and friends. Tuition covers all academic instruction as well as room and board.
Fees for the 2016-2017 school year at Kent include:
|Day Student||Boarding Student|
- For domestic families, Kent offers one, two, or ten (with a one-time fee) payment plans.
- Tuition Solutions Loan Program offers loans to domestic families through Springstone Financial LLC with a flexible repayment period of 24-84 months. Families may borrow up to $40,000 with no prepayment penalties.
