Application Checklist:

Anytime:

1. Submit the Inquiry Form to receive information and prior to scheduling an interview.

Mid-Summer – Early Fall:

2. Call us to schedule a campus tour and interview: 860-927-6111 or 800-538-5368.

3. Register for standardized testing:

• 9th and 10th grade applicants must take the SSAT. Our school code is 4336.
• 11th grade applicants may submit the PSAT. Your scores should be included with your transcript.
• PG applicants may submit the SAT or ACT. Your scores should be included with your transcript.
• International students must take the TOEFL in addition to the SSAT, PSAT or SAT. Our school code is 8039.

November 1:

4. Begin the Application process online through Gateway to Prep Schools OR submit the Parent Form with the application fee.

• $65 domestic U.S. Citizens
• $120 all others

5. Begin the Financial Aid process, if applicable.

6. Ask your teachers to write a recommendation for you online or give them the printed recommendation forms along with stamped addressed envelopes.

• School Recommendation (to be completed by counselor or school head/principal) and
  transcript (please include grades for at least the previous year and current year-to-date, when current term ends.)
• English Teacher Recommendation
• Mathematics Teacher Recommendation

By January 15:

7. Complete Student Application and Essay and submit them to Kent and follow up to be sure your application is complete.
