With a subscription to over fifty online databases, the John Gray Park Library provides students wireless access to thousands of magazines and scholarly journals, regional, national and international newspapers, reference resources, multimedia content and primary source materials - just about everything you could want to look up. And it's all available on Kent's network, so you can access it from anywhere on campus.
Kent is a forerunner among private schools in implementing a federated search platform that allows you to search across all of these databases with the help of a single interface. This is great because you can search in one place, like Google, but it's better than that, because you can be sure that the results you get are from legitimate sources.
Because we're preparing you for college, we built our vast electronic collection to be comparable to that of a small college. That way, you can get familiar with college-level resources that you can incorporate into your schoolwork, research and the pursuit of your own interests. To help guide you, our reference librarians conduct frequent instructional sessions and are available for individual assistance at all times the library is open. They'll help you find what you need and, more importantly, help you learn how to find it on your own.
