Summer Learning

Kent is committed to supporting our students in their educational and creative endeavors not just during their 9-month residency on campus during our academic year, but throughout all 12 months of the year - both on and off campus. To that end, there are a wealth of Kent-sponsored summer and spring break programs that include service trips, both domestic and abroad, spring sports training trips, course-related Marine Studies trips to the Caribbean, and Foreign Language and culture trips. Kent's Summer Learning Advisor advises students on finding summer opportunities outside of Kent to enrich their Kent careers, maintains a searchable database of Summer programs, publishes a periodic newsletter, organizes visits from program representatives as well as hosts an annual Summer Program Fair in December.
