At Kent, our academic facilities are as forward-thinking and well-considered as our curriculum. For starters, you’ll have your own personal tablet PC, which lets you take notes, write music, analyze data, present results and do research—in the classroom, in your dorm room, or maybe on top of Mount Algo.
The equipment in our Language Learning Center is also impressive. You'll go there, both in class and independently, to use the powerful and flexible computer system to improve your Chinese or brush up on French. And the school’s wireless network lets you access a variety of web-based language tools from anywhere on campus.
In addition to our innovative use of the latest hardware and software, we utilize people in smart ways. For example, our Writing Lab is staffed with specialist whose strength with the English language is outdone only by their ability to teach and inspire.
And in our John Gray Park Library, you'll find knowledgeable and helpful librarians surrounded by an amazing number of books and electronic and online databases. It's a wonderful combination of both human and technological resources, just like Kent itself.
