Advising at Kent

Your advisor will get to know you well as we work, play, and live together in the Kent community.  Your advisor will be there for you when questions come up about a class, a dorm matter, a sports concern, a school rule, or any other help you need while you’re here and even after you graduate.  But, our advising program is about much more than just problem solving.

Our goal is for each student to find a true mentor here.  The school fosters this with the structure of our Advising program and through our Advising Coordinator and Advisor Support Team which is made up of veteran faculty members.  We've built time into our academic day for advising, and students sit with their advisor at formal dinner.  It's the intentional nature of our program that makes it so successful.

Have you already found your passion?  Let your advisor help connect you to people and places to get you where you’re going.  Share your ideas with your advisor and see where you can go.

Are you still figuring out what drives you?  That’s OK!  Kent is the place to figure out who you are and where you want to go.  Your advisor will help you navigate the many paths and opportunities just waiting for you to discover.  Are you ready?
