Laptop Program
Kent School students are required to have a tablet laptop computer for use throughout their academic years at Kent School. Students use their tablet PC for research, analysis, composition, school communication, presentations and for various assigned classroom exercises.
The basics of the technology program:
Kent includes the necessary academic computing tool in the enrollment contract, in order to guarantee a computer up to the job, the right software pre-configured to work, proper protection from viruses, and access to our best resources for quick repair and minimum downtime. We entirely support these computers. There is nothing else you need to do.
All computers are configured to meet Kent School specifications and are loaded with the latest Microsoft Office Suite and configured with network access to the school's network and the Internet.
To enable a network account, students must complete the following: http://aup.kent-school.edu.
