Kent is a charming small town that dates back to colonial times. It's easy to get to—only 90 miles north of New York City—but it feels a world away. Set on the edge of the Appalachian Trail, with the Housatonic River running right through the heart of town, Kent is a beautiful place to learn and grow.

And while quiet, safe, and comfortable, Kent is filled with locally owned shops, from restaurants to bookstores and boutiques, art galleries to cafes, not to mention two chocolate shops and three pizza places. The town even has its own film festival. Nearby there are theatres, concerts, a jazz festival. Outdoors, students can enjoy over 87 miles of hiking trails. Seven local state parks and other area facilities offer opportunities for white water paddling, biking, skiing, golfing, canoeing, camping, fishing, even snowshoeing.
