Kent School is an independent co-educational boarding school for grades 9-12. The school sits on an idyllic hillside between the Appalachian Trail and the Housatonic River in Northwestern Connecticut. Our strong college preparatory curriculum provides a classic liberal arts education in a technology-rich environment supplemented by an inviting and varied arts program, a vigorous and successful athletic program and a diverse mix of clubs, activities and leadership opportunities.

Forms

What's all this stuff about "forms"?
Kent follows the British boarding school tradition of referring to grades as “forms.” In Britain, there are seven (yes, like at Hogwart's). Our ninth graders correspond to the third form of that system while seniors are in the sixth form.
