Two Kent School players – Tevaun Smith and Christophe Mulumba – have been selected to play in the 2012 USA Football International Bowl in Austin, Texas on February 1. Smith, a receiver from Toronto, Canada and Mulumba, a linebacker from Laval, Canada, will play for the International Team comprised of the top high school age players from 61 countries (covering 6 continents). The game will be telecast live by the ESPN network with many of the country’s best collegiate prospects taking part.
Smith has committed to the University of Iowa and Mulumba has received a scholarship offer from the University of Maine. Each was named to the All Erickson and All-New England teams this past fall and helped lead Kent to an undefeated regular season and its second consecutive New England Championship game appearance.
